Day Out with Thomas

Thomas is a regular visitor to Didcot Railway Centre where he is welcomed by his friends the Great Western engines.

Diesel shunts the Troublesome Trucks

The Fat Controller supervises Rev.W.Awdry's classic children's favourite - Thomas the Tank Engine on his “Day Out with Thomas™” visits.

There are rides behind ‘Thomas’ and 'Duck' and lots of other entertainment for children including magic shows, Punch & Judy shows, circus workshops, balloon model makers, colouring competitions and ‘spot the character’ competitions.

Don't forget to collect your souvenir Junior Engineer's certificate signed by Sir Topham Hatt!

A wide range of souvenirs is available in the ‘Thomas’ shop.

There is a Refreshment Room serving lunches, snacks and drinks also a picnic area where you can sit and watch the trains go by.
