The day commences at 8am with coffee and breakfast rolls and concludes at 4pm with the presentation of a Certificate of your day's experience.

On Railway Experience Days we use 'heavy freight' 2-8-0 No.3822. On Tank Engine Experience days we use one of the smaller Great Western Railway locomotives in our collection.

Participants are welcome to bring up to 2 guests (who must be booked in advance) who can accompany you for the tour and enjoy the day for £25 each including lunch. This is not suitable for young children.
