Locomotive Roster

Locomotives Available for Traffic

Locomotives currently considered to be ‘in Traffic’, subject to normal running maintenance are:

• Bonnie Prince Charlie — Robert Stephenson & Hawthorn 0-4-0ST
• 1338 — GWR (Built by Kitson) 0-4-0ST
• 1340 — GWR (Built by Avonside) 0-4-0ST
• 3650 — GWR 0-6-0 Pannier Tank (in Industrial Livery)
• 3738 — GWR 0-6-0 Pannier Tank
• 3822 — GWR 2-8-0 Heavy Freight Tender Locomotive
• 5322 — GWR 2-6-0 Tender Locomotive
• Fire Fly — GWR 2-2-2 Broad Gauge Tender Locomotive (Replica)

The following diesels and cranes are also available for shunting and engineering purposes: 08 604 — BR Diesel shunter, DL26 — Hunslet 0-6-0 Diesel, 5t Steam Crane, 5t Diesel Crane.

Locomotive Roster

The roster is indicative of those locomotives which are intended to be steamed, but the Great Western Society is unable to guarantee that a specific locomotive will be in steam on any given day.
